I recently started using a laptop that had been laying around for a while again, and lurking on it I found oo-software’s CleverCache.
For some reason I had forgotten about this little gem since then. I was actually quite amazed at the performance my old laptop seemed to have, and I attribute part of it to this utility.
CleverCache is a small utility that helps you optimize Windows caching strategies.
I primarily use it on laptops, where the hard drives can be painfully slow, and memory might be limited.

oo-software, also makes the best disk defragger. I prefer this to Diskkeeper, or Symantecs offering.
